Italian Honor Society donates funds

The 2011-2012 members of the Italian National Honor Society at Boardman High School, under the direction of Maddalena Amero, Mary Ann Keifer, Ellie Sacco and Liliana McElhaney, recently collected money by selling Italian calendars.

Every year, the society collects money and the proceeds are donated toward an improvement at Boardman High School. This year, the society decided to donate the money toward refinishing the benches outside of the high school.

The society also donated money for four spruce trees to be planted outside the high school.
