Gov. Corbett to campaign with Romney in Pa.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Gov. Tom Corbett will appear with Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney on Romney’s first traditional campaign trip of the general election, a six-state trek by bus.

The Saturday afternoon event will be at the historic Cornwall Iron Furnace, a Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission site about 25 miles east of Harrisburg.

Romney also will appear Saturday morning at Weatherly Casting & Machine Co. in Carbon County, after which he’ll stop at a WaWa convenience store in Quakertown, near Philadelphia.

The “Every Town Counts” tour begins in New Hampshire today and includes Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan.

Meanwhile, the Democratic National Committee’s four-day “The Middle Class Under the Bus” tour will stop in Scranton this afternoon. It is making at least 10 stops across the same six states.
