People from all over the Valley came to enjoy food, games and rides during Immaculate Heart of Mary’s 29th annual Festival June 6-10.

No one was left out as there was something for everyone to do during the event.

“We have a nice variety of activities for families. It’s a nice way to start the summer off,” said Fr. Ken Miller.

People ate food while listening to live music, which was all prepared by members of the parish.

“If someone is older and can’t physically be here they can still bake foods,” said Parish Center Secretary Marilyn D’Eramo.

The success of the event is due largely to the members of the parish who do not hesitate to assist in any way they can.

“It really helps to build up our parish. Everyone rolls up their sleeve and pitched in to help,” Miller said.

The community support has also been a contributing factor to the success of the festival.

“We get a lot of support from the community, Community members and businesses have helped us,” D’Eramo said.

The event ended with fireworks, which draws in the most people, according to D’Eramo. The event not only helped the members of the parish, but also brought together members of the community as well.

“I really enjoy it. It’s a great community builder. Every age group comes out for this,” said Miller.
