Canfield Fair taps Shelton

Blake Shelton, country music artist and breakout star of NBC’s “The Voice,” will headline the entertainment lineup at this year’s Canfield Fair.

Shelton, with special guest The Lost Trailers, will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 2 at the Grandstand.

Shelton’s newest release is “Red River Blue” featuring “Drink On It” and “Honey Bee.”

Country music singers Martina McBride and Scotty McCreery, an “American Idol” winner, will take to the stage at 8 p.m. Sept. 3.

McBride’s latest release is “Eleven.”

The U.S. Freestyle Motorcross National Championship Series will be at 8 p.m. Aug. 30, Demolition Derby at 8 p.m. Aug. 31 and truck and tractor pull at 7 p.m. Sept. 1.
