The Ohio Blast 10U fast-pitch softball team took first place at the Ohio Blast ASA Eastern National Qualifier in Liberty. The Blast went 5-0 in pool play and elimination rounds, defeating Thunder Elite 12-10 in the title game. Team members are Bree Kohler (Poland), Megan Ward (McDonald), Leah Pancake (Negley), Sydney Vukovich (McDonald), Eileen Flowers (Chester, W.V.), Olivia Lombardo (New Castle, Pa), Brianna Callow (McDonald), Kylie Hyde (Canfield), Lainie Simons (Austintown), Emily Darlington (Howland) and Hunter Gorby (Rogers). Coaches for manager Doug Hyde are Fred Kohler, Chris Lombardo and Bill Pancake.

The Ohio Blast 12U fast-pitch softball team took second place at the Ohio Blast ASA Eastern National Qualifier in Liberty. Ohio Blast went 6-1, losing to Thunder Elite 99, 5-4, in seven innings. Team members are Kelsey Byers (Alliance), Hanna Dennison (New Springfield), Drew Feren (Canfield), Maddie Helon (Poland), Hope Thomas (North Lima), Bailey Byers (Alliance), Rachel Ward (McDonald), Caroline Griswold (Youngstown), Codi Taylor (North Lima), Annie Zagorec (Hubbard) and Alisha Dean (New Waterford). Helping manager Ron Dennison are coaches Joe Zagorec, Greg Ward and Don Feren.
