A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield and Austintown Township:

CANFIELD CITY

May 21

Door damaged: A delivery person broke a glass door at Canfield city building, 104 Lisbon St., and did not report it. The door was repaired.

May 28

Criminal mischief: The front door of a home was damaged with an “X” marked on it on Fairview Ave.

May 30

Theft: Robert McIlvaine, 34, of 273 Carriage Lane, was accused of theft of his girlfriend’s Xbox and Gateway computer, which was pawned at Austintown Pawn.

Theft: Robert McIlvaine, 34, of 273 Carriage Lane, was arrested in a theft of packages from another apartment in his building.

June 2

Drug paraphernalia: Rufus Green Jr., 52, 1487 Republic Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

False orders: Belleria Express, 584 E. Main St. reported a false order for pizza, wings and pop, plus delivery charge valued at $81.34 to a home where an order had not been placed.

June 3

Drug abuse: Christine Wiery, 19, 577 Tod Ave., Warren was arrested on a charge of drug abuse of marijuana.

June 5

Telecommunications harassment: Threats were made by phone calls to a home in the 100 block of Topaz Circle.

Identity theft: A man attempted to withdraw $8,500 from a savings account of a resident of the 400 block of Bradford Drive at a bank in Florida. Bank officials would not allow him to withdraw the funds.

June 9

Drug abuse: Dylan Spiker, 22, of 496 E. Euclid Ave., Salem, was arrested on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia for possession of marijuana and a wood pipe and rolling papers.

June 4

Burglary: A cellphone was taken from an apartment in the 100 block of Compass West. Entry was gained through an open window.

June 5

Breaking and entering: Antone’s Italian Cafe, 4837 Mahoning Ave. was broken into, and the cash drawer stolen.

Auto theft: A 2004 Silver trailer was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Fraud: Numerous unauthorized purchases were reported at a home in the 5000 block of Ashley Circle.

Theft: Copper wire was cut from the Ohio Edison power station, 3800 Crum Road.

Theft: Personal items were sold without permission at a home in the 100 block of Signature Drive.

June 6

Theft: Cash was taken from a purse at Wendy’s, 27 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A portable toilet was blown up at a home in the 6000 block of Calvary Court.

Theft: A wreath was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Domestic violence: Angela Hoskin,47, of 6661 Abbott Ave., was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.

June 7

Aggravated menacing: Male suspects were throwing rocks at vehicles at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Criminal damaging: The passenger-side window of a vehicle was damaged in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Theft: Cash, a cellphone and CDs were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Burglary: A house was entered and money taken in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Fraud: Money from pensions funds was accessed at 5291 Ashley Circle.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into at the Austintown Community Church, 252 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Counterfeiting: Two vehicles containing counterfeit merchandise were found at a home in the 40 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Money was taken from three victims for a property lease at a home in the 3000 block of Crum Road.

June 8

Theft: About 100 gallons of diesel fuel were stolen from a vehicle at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Drug offense: Roderick Wilson, 25, of 2001 Warwick Drive, Youngstown, was charged with possession of cocaine, Tramadol and carrying a concealed weapon. Kevin Henderson, 24, of 1619 Florence Ave., Youngstown was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Keith Tillis, 23, of 87 Sexton St., Struthers was charged with possession of heroin and permitting drug abuse in a vehicle in the 5000 block of Clarkins Drive.

Burglary: A window screen was cut, and a Sony Playstation was stolen in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Five unwanted phone calls were reported at a home in the 200 block of Penny Lane.

Drug offense: Drug paraphernalia was found in the 900 block of Compass West.

Vandalism: William Bowden Jr., 17,4821 Westchester Drive., Apt. 208 was charged with vandalism and possession of drug paraphernalia at Sugar Showcase, 1361 S. Raccoon Road.

June 9

Drug offense: Heather Wassam,20, of 2237 Lyntz Road, Lordstown, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Weapons offense: Luis Rodriguez,23, 1225 Valley Street, Youngstown, and Martika Rodriguez, age unavailable, 158 Lilburne Drive, Youngstown, were arrested on a weapons offense for having a loaded firearm, a shotgun accessible to a passenger or the driver at the Go Go Cabaret, 5400 Clarkins Drive.

Auto theft: A 1992 Buick Roadmaster was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Breaking and entering: A break-in was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Meridian Road.

Fraud: Fraudulent bank charges were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Avenue.

Theft: A tailgate was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Shadow Oak Drive.

Drug offense: Thomas Spickler, 23, of 257 N. Main St. was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia, a pipe with marijuana residue.

Burglary: A door was damaged in a burglary at a home in the 100 block of Russell Avenue.

Theft: A camera was stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Edinburgh Drive.

Theft: 33 toothbrushes were stolen at Walgreens, 3800 Tippecanoe Road.

Theft: A television was stolen at EconoLodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

June 10

Theft: A CB radio and change were stolen from an auto at Ryder Truck Rental, 650 N. Meridian Road.

Drug offense: George Adams,38, of 3804 Oakleigh Ave., was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana.
