Penn National eyes 2014 opening in Austintown and 1,000 jobs

AUSTINTOWN

Penn National anticipates a fall groundbreaking and early 2014 opening of its Austintown racino, called The Hollywood Slots at Mahoning Valley Race Course, representatives said today.

Racing will take place from about noon to 5 p.m. about four days a week.

Inside the facility, video lottery terminals will be open 24/7

Penn National expects 1,000 new direct and indirect jobs.
