“The Women of Lockerbie,SDRq directed by Mary Ruth Lynn. Youngstown Playhouse, Glenwood Ave. Auditions will be June 25. Be prepared to read from the script. Roles for women of various ages and two men. This is a modern Greek tragedy style and centers around the Pan Am 109 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland. Performances are Sept. 28-Oct. 7. 330-788-8739.

“Spring Awakening,SDRq Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown, will have auditions at 7 p.m. June 26 and 27. Actors will be involved in mature situations, show contains partial nudity. Strong musical theater performers ages and older are needed. 16- and 17-year-olds may, at the director’s discretion, be considered, if their parents agree to sign a waiver. Be prepared with a song, preferably in the style of the show. There will also be a movement audition for teens, so wear appropriate clothing. Adult man and woman are nonsinging, nondancing parts. MUSICIANS

Gospel talent show, hosted by St. James Church of God In Christ Youth Dept., 75 S. Prospect, Youngstown. Auditions are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. $10 registration fee. Awards of $25, $50 and $100 will be given at the 2012 Youth Xplosion Food, Fun and Fellowship Day.
