YMCA SPLASH! week to teach water safety

The second 2012 SPLASH! week will occur from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 18, 20 and 22 and from 7 to 8 p.m. June 19 and 21 at the Central YMCA, 17 N. Champion St..

The first SPLASH! week taught more than 220 kids ages 6 to 12 safety near an in the water.

The YMCA of Youngstown also offers year-round progressive swim lessons for ages 6 months to adults. Lessons teach stroke development, rescue, personal safety, sports and games and personal growth. Visit www.Youngstown YMCA.org for information.
