Suspects in Craigslist case ordered no contact

AKRON, Ohio (AP) — An Ohio judge has ordered a man and a teenager suspected in the shooting deaths of three people who responded to bogus Craigslist job ads to have no contact with each other while they await trial.

A report summary made available today by Judge Lynne Callahan of Summit County Common Pleas Court in Akron says 52-year-old Richard Beasley and 17-year-old Brogan Rafferty are to be kept apart while housed at the county jail.

WEWS-TV in Cleveland reports the judge has blocked access to details behind her decision.

Beasley is suspected in the shooting deaths of three people who authorities say were lured to a rural area by fake job ads posted on Craigslist. Beasley has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges. Rafferty is charged with helping in the scheme.
