Boy Scout Council plans golf outing

The Greater Western Reserve Boy Scout Council is taking registration for its Links Classic fundraiser, scheduled for June 25 at the Trumbull Country Club, 600 Golf Dr., N.E., Warren. Teams of four or individual golfers will benefit Boy Scout programs in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties.

Lunch and registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., and there will be a one-flight shotgun start at 1 p.m. with a best ball scramble. Several games of skill, team prizes, on course beverages, an evening reception and a basket auction also will be featured.

Player sponsorship levels start at a $150 individual package, which includes golf, unlimited driving range, refreshments, lunch and dinner. All golfers receive entry in the games of skill. Team sponsorships include the $750 Team Package and the $1500 Timeless Value Package. Both include golf for a foursome, a team photo with PGA professional and Warren native Jason Kokrak, hole sponsorship and event program recognition. Kokrak also will play a hole of golf with Timeless Value Package teams.

Sponsorship opportunities include a $300 hole sponsor, $250 beverage sponsor and $100 prize sponsor. Items also are being accepted for the basket auction.

Sponsors for the outing are Greenwood Chevrolet, O’Charley’s Restaurant, Panera Bread and Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
