Jenna Vivo, 12, earns player of the year honor
Jenna Vivo, 12, daughter of Jim Vivo and Nadine and Nick Colla, has been named Player of the Year 2012 in the Cleveland Spring Local Tour of the US Kids World Golf Tournament. Jenna placed first in each of the six matches held at Cleveland area golf courses. This is the sixth consecutive year that Jenna has earned this title.
In addition, Jenna won the Ohio District Pre-Qualifier of the 2012 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship played at Deercreek Golf Course placing first in all age groups with an 18 hole score of 77. She will be competing in state qualifying tournament later this month to earn an invitation to the Optimist International Junior Tournament held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the PGA National Golf Course in July.
As Player of the Year, Jenna has earned an invitation to compete in the U.S. Kids Invitational World Championship Tournament, this August in Pinehurst, N.C.
Jenna is a sixth grader at Boardman Center Middle School.
