Comics art camp for kids at museum
YOUNGSTOWN
Join visual artist Pammy John for two sessions of The Wonderful World of Comics summer camp at the Arms Museum, 648 Wick Ave.
Kids will explore the world of comics, discover some examples from the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s collection and use some local history inspiration to develop their own stories and characters.
Session 1 is June 26-29 ; Session 2 is July 10-13. Both sessions run from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
Cost per session is $35 for MVHS members, $40 for nonmembers. Each session will feature different projects. Classes will meet in the Carriage House behind the Arms Family Museum, 649 Wick Ave. Call 330-743-2589 to register.
