Dunkin’ seeks artists for mug design contest

Dunkin’ Donuts has launched a travel mug design contest, which runs through June 30.

Mahoning Valley artists are encouraged to enter artwork in the Miracles for Munchkins competition. Designs should best interpret the miracles and promises delivered by Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley. They may be in the form of pencil drawings, watercolors, paintings, photography or graphic designs.

The winning design will be featured on a limited-edition travel mug that will be sold at all Valley Dunkin’ Donut locations this fall. The winner also will be awarded a $100 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card.

A percentage of the proceeds from the mug’s sale will benefit the Mix 98.9 Miracles & Promises Radiothon, which will be broadcast Sept. 19, 20 and 21 from the hospital’s campus in Boardman.
