Warren files suit to shut down massage parlors

WARREN — As promised, the city of Warren has filed action in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court seeking a court order to shut down the eight massage parlors raided last week by state and Warren investigators.

The filings ask that the eight parlors be declared a public nuisance based on evidence that prostitution was occurring at the sites.

The filing seeks to have the furniture, fixtures and movable property in the businesses sold, “to effectually close the premises against its use for a one-year period,” the suit says.
