Fraud: An ex-boyfriend took a check for $620 and is also harassing a woman at a home in the 3000 block of Cumberland Drive.
Theft: Scrap metal was stolen from Austintown Metal Works, 45 Victoria Road.
Telecommunications harassment: Harassing emails were reported in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Cody Hylton, 21, of 712 Notre Dame Ave., Austintown, on a charge of aggravated burglary.
Animal complaint: A dog fight took place and an owner was bitten at a home in the 3000 block of Robert Frost Drive.
Telecommunications harassment: A woman is a suspect in telecommunications harassment at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.
April 19
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Paul Tatar, 56, of 4587 Kirk Road, Apt. 11, on a felonious assault charge.
Theft: A 12-foot aluminum row boat was stolen at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.
Theft: A pool cue was taken from a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Jeffrey Meese, 29, of 108 Westminster Ave., on charges of complicity to criminal damaging and inducing panic.
April 20
Theft: A GPS and miscellaneous items were stolen from Masters Repair Group, LLC, 200 Victoria Road.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Ashley Shubert, 26, of Austintown on a rape charge.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Brandon Pendland, 26, of 261 S. Main St., on a charge of complicity to burglary.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Jeremy Green, 31, of 1137 Salt Springs Road, Mineral Ridge, on charges of theft and criminal simulation.
Aggravated menacing: A man was accused of aggravated menacing at a home in the 50 block of Nort Roanoke Avenue.
Disorderly conduct: Police charged Alexander Otero, 29, of 40 N. Roanoke Ave., with disorderly conduct, public indecency and resisting arrest after his arrest in the township.
Receiving stolen property: Police charged Kristin Nagy, 28, of 11711 Ellsworth Road, North Jackson, with receiving stolen property for reportedly cashing stolen checks from Farmers National Bank, 22 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to James Ehrhart, 38, of 2382 Penny Lane, Austintown, for failure to appear on a probation violation.
April 21
Theft: A GPS, CB radio and keys were stolen from the trunk of an auto at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: A driver’s window was smashed out and tools were stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.
Attempted theft: A female fled after attempting to walk out with a television at Wal-Mart.
Theft: Jewelry and equipment was taken from Bills’ Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted calls were received by the wife’s ex-husband at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.
April 22
Drug offense: Police charged Nicholas Carrabia, 22, of 4567 Deopham Green Drive, Austintown, with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and Adam Hudak, 23, of 882 Harbor Drive, Lake Milton, with possession of marijuana after their arrests in the township.
Theft: A Johnson outboard moor was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Drive.
Theft/recovered property: A purse was stolen at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road, and later recovered with nothing missing.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Joseph Hyust, 43, who listed addresses in Niles and New Athens, on charges of theft and falsification and failure to appear in court on a falsification charge.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Harold Charon, 37, of 6965 McCartney Road, Lot. No. 1, Lowellville, on charges of breaking and entering and criminal trespassing.
Theft: Police issued a summons to Bernita Carter, 30, of 209 Carroll St., Youngstown, for theft of $98 in merchandise on a Liberty warrant, and a summons to Tamara Brown, 43, of 153 S. Truesdale Ave., Youngstown, for theft of $73.66 in merchandise at Dollar General, 1739 S. Raccoon Road, and on a warrant from Niles.
Aggravated menacing: A woman was threatened at a home in the 300 block of Wilcox Road.

Criminal mischief: Ketchup was squirted into a washer and dryer at Kerrybrook Commons Apartments, 1764 S. Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: Scrap metal was taken from a fenced in area at Ryder Truck Rental, 650 S. Meridian Road.
Burglary: A Kindle Fire and jewelry were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle hood was scratched at a home in the 3000 block of Hamman Drive.
Telecommunications harassment: An ex-boyfriend was harassing his ex-girlfriend by phone at an apartment in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from an Ohio Edison substation at 95 N. Kimberly Avenue.
Theft: An audio recorder was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

Felonious assault: William Huff, 23, of 4467 New Road was arrested on a charge of felonious assault.

Domestic Violence: Glen Fowler, 50, of 4841 Westchester Drive, No. 105, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Obstructing official business: Daniel Delquadri, 27, of 176 S. Parkgate Drive was arrested and released on a summons alleging obstructing official business.
Fraud: A suspect was using fraudulent credit cards at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Charles McMaster, 57, of 1701 Westwood Ave. was arrested on a warrant alleging theft.
Theft: Frank Crone, 33, of 739 Ridge Drive was arrested on a charge of theft of Dr. Scholl’s inserts at Walmart.
May 4
Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle was reported at King Kar Motors, 4120 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated menacing: Two males were threatened at a home in the 900 block of Kirwan Drive.
Burglary: Copper pipe and an air conditioning unit were stolen from a home in he 200 block of N. Turner Road.
Theft: A GPS was stolen from an auto at a home in the 5000 block of W. Rockwell Road.
Theft: A debit card was stolen from a home in the 500 block of W. Webb Road.
Theft: Sandra Cessna, 62, of 4615 New Road, was arrested and charged with the theft of $21 worth of books at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Mail was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damaging: A BB hole was found in a window at a home in the 500 block of Westgate Blvd.
May 5
Telecommunication harassment: A woman received unwanted text messages at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Theft: $600 was taken by a suspect from an auto in the parking lot at Pilot Oil, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A cellphone was taken from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Solar lights were taken from a home in the 5000 block of Herons Boulevard.
Warrant: Erica Goeden, 24, of 111 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, was arrested on a warrant alleging failure to appear on traffic charges.
Theft: Two guns and a lockbox were taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
Theft: A bicycle was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
May 6
Disorderly conduct: Kody Gillespie, 20, of 17742 Redwood Drive, Lake Milton, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Burglary: $500 was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Kirk Road.
Warrant: Joseph Sweitzer, 31, of 783 Indiana Blvd., Niles, was arrested on a warrant alleging theft of $125.45 in merchandise from Kmart.
Disorderly conduct: Cara Ciccone, 19, of 14400 Leffingwell Road, Berlin Center, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at O’Donold’s, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Items were stolen from an auto at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 1000 block of Westhampton Drive.
Disorderly conduct: Alex Otero, 29, of 40 N. Roanoke Ave., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest at Sav-A-Step, 4226 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Wal-Mart.
Drug offense: Andrew McCourt, 25, of 15900 Mock Road, Berlin Center, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and resisting arrest. The subject ingested the suspected marijuana he was found with and was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center.
May 7
Auto theft: A 2004 green Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Theft: Checks were taken from a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage to siding and windows reported in a plaza at 1570 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Business files were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle tire was cut at Marc’s,4755 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A debit/credit card was used without authorization at Club Privilege.
May 8
Receiving stolen property: Stolen property was reported at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated menacing: Threats were made on Facebook at a home in the 1000 block of S. Meridian Road.
Theft: Gun parts were left on a porch and later stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Fairmeadow Drive.
Warrant: Matt Shall, 46, of 37 N. Turner Road, was arrested on warrants for breaking and entering.
Breaking and entering: A storage shed was broken into at a home in the 5000 block of West Webb Road.
Theft: Cash was stolen at Rita’s Italian Ice Cream,5221 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: $8,000 was sent to Spain at a home in the 2000 block of South Turner Road.
Burglary: Cash was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Westminister Ave.
May 9
Unauthorized use: A 2005 Cadillac Deville was stolen at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West.
Fraud: A debit card was compromised for $39.90 at a home in the 6000 block of Calloway Circle.
Burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Allendale Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: Harassment was reported at a home in the 300 block of Beechcrest Drive.
Theft: Three women were arrested for theft at Wal-Mart: Stephanie White, 30, of 230 S. Maple St., Akron; Tyra Simmons, 20, of 692 Roselawn St., Akron; and Sasha King, 23, of 820 East Ave., No. 3, Akron.
Burglary: A burglary at a home that occurred in April was reported in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Aggravated menacing: A suspect is accused of aggravated menacing at a home in the 500 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Disorderly conduct: Bruce Diehl, 58, of 4254 Staatz Drive was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Domestic violence: Richard Bates, 64, of 4697 Woodhurst Blvd.,No. 4 was arrested for domestic violence.
May 10
Warrant: Kevin Kridler, 36,of 1376 S. Lincoln Ave., Salem was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a probation violation, and an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of a protection order.
Counterfeit: A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at Winner’s Palace,II, 1698 S. Raccoon Road.
May 11
Recovered property: A men’s wallet was recovered at Kirk Road and S. Raccoon Road.
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 1995 Chevrolet Astro was taken without permission at a home in the 200 block of South Main Street and later recovered.
Theft: Personal items were stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle: A 2002 Saturn was taken without authorization from a home in the 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue and later recovered.
Menacing: There is a suspect in menacing at a home in the 200 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Disorderly conduct: William Petriella, 21,of 1317 Karen Oval, Vienna was arrested for disorderly conduct at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Burglary: No entry was made, but a screen was tampered with at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Criminal damaging: A rear vehicle window was shattered at Billy’s, 40 S.Meridian Road.

Aggravated robbery: A victim was assaulted by a man and money taken from the register at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Lost or stolen property: A wallet was lost or stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage was done to an apartment door in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Lost license plate: A Pennsylvania license plate was lost at True 2 Form, 5461 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: There was no forced entry in a break-in at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square. A laptop and iPod were taken.
Fraud: A Verizon account was compromised at a home in the 5000 block of DePauw Avenue.
Theft: Vicodin was stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Avenue.
Warrants: Police arrested Christopher Ocasio, 18, of 146 Mayflower Drive, Boardman, and Davin J.R. Lyle, 18, of 466 Annawan Lane, Boardman, on warrants for grand theft.
May 15
Burglary: Numerous electronic items, including an Xbox and a television and jewelry were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Rosemont Avenue.
Telecommunications harassment: A woman reported receiving an harassing phone call at a home in the 50 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Theft: Checks were stolen from a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Warrant: Police arrested Patricia Fincham, 48, of 2590 S. Raccoon Road, Apt. 5, on a warrant for menacing.
Bad checks: Advance America, 4429 Mahoning Ave., reported receiving bad checks twice.
Theft: Two written prescriptions were stolen from an auto at Marc’s, 4755 Mahoning Ave.
Unauthorized use of property: A bicycle was used without authorization at a home in the 3000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Police arrested a woman and charged her with theft and possession of drugs after her arrest at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Dumping complaint: A complaint about dumping was reported from a home in the 3000 block of Lanterman Road.
Lost or stolen: A military ID card was reported lost or stolen at Scotchie & Associates, 25 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Berry Blossom Drive.
Theft: $80 was stolen from a locker at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Theft: A Garmin GPS system, dance-line rifle, and purse were stolen from an auto parked in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A window was damaged on an auto but nothing was taken at Goodies, 4903 Mahoning Ave.
Forgery: Thirty-eight fraudulent credit cards were being used by two women who were arrested at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave. Police charged Lachelle Robinson, 33, of Brooklyn, N.Y., with 18 counts of forgery and three counts of receiving stolen property, and Aisha Logan, 22, of Brooklyn, N.Y., with 20 counts of forgery and three counts of receiving stolen property.
Theft: A bicycle was taken from a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
May 17
Theft: A handgun was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.
Counterfeit currency: Counterfeit currency was passed at Walmart.
Theft: Gift cards were purchased with a stolen credit card at Walmart.
Menacing: An employee was threatened at Cerni Motors, 5751 Cerni Place.
Warrant: Joshua Bressler, 19, of 4590 Washington Square Drive was arrested on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Warrant: Police arrested Michael Harver, 24, of 2531 Knollwood Ave., Poland, on a warrant for theft of $640.
Warrant: Police arrested Misti Campbell, 24, of 5110 Willowcrest Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of drug abuse of marijuana.
Disturbance: An argument over property was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at Canfield and South Meridian roads.

Criminal mischief: A home in the 100 block of Victory Hill Lane was the site of criminal mischief.
Theft: Items were taken from a storage room at Austintown Self Storage, 5370 Clarkins Drive.
Disturbance: Two students were involved in a disturbance at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: $6 was reported stolen at Precision of Ohio, 3850 Henricks Road.
Menacing: Threatening text messages were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Summons: Police issued a summons to Kevin Sheridan,21, of 1010 Compass West Drive, No. 2, for criminal damaging.

Menacing by stalking: There is a suspect in an incident of menacing by stalking at Winners Palace II, 1698 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A cellphone was stolen at Fitch High School.
May 20
Violation of protection order: Unwanted calls were reported at a home in the 800 block of Compass West.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 500 block of Western Place.
Domestic violence: A 14-year-old male juvenile was taken to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center after an incident of domestic violence at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Margaret Gregory, 48, of 4220 Pembrook Road, for failure to appear in court on a charge of passing bad checks.
