WARREN

A Point Park University in Pittsburgh television broadcasting student completing her senior film project has filmed a 40-minute documentary on the blight and housing problem in Warren.

Claire Gysegem will show the documentary, called Abandoned, at 7 p.m. June 18 at the Warren YWCA, 375 North Park Ave. The gallery opens at 6 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The film explores Warren and the way the city is responding to the blight and dangerous conditions created by the numerous vacant houses in the city.
