Police: Ex-school board member sent racy texts
CLAYSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A school board member has resigned his post as he faces charges he sent sexually explicit text messages to a teenage girl who was sleeping over at his home.
Brian Hall is charged with a single count of corruption of minors in connection with the texts he allegedly sent the girl last June. Police say Hall sent the messages to the girl who was at his West Alexander home for a sleepover with his daughter.
Hall was elected to the McGuffey School District board in November. He submitted his resignation in April.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 26 before a Washington County magistrate.
