New Castle police arrest homicide suspect

NEW CASTLE, PA.

New Castle police have arrested a man in the homicide of a man found dead in a burned apartment.

Police said Deangelo Mercer was arrested in the death of Arnold E. Miller of Pittsburgh.

Miller was found in a fire at 309 Phillips St. on Feb. 25. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police did not provide an age or address for Mercer.
