Jason Kokrak part of golf fundraiser

PGA Tour rookie Jason Kokrak will headline the Greater Western Reserve Boy Scout Council’s Link’s Classic Fundraiser on June 25 at Trumbull Country Club.

The event is a four-person scramble and will benefit the Boy Scout programs in Trumbull and Mahoning counties. There’s also opportunities for beverage, hole and prize sponsorships.

A four-player Timeless Value Package for $1,500 includes playing one hole with Kokrak and a team photo with him and other benefits, including refreshments, lunch and dinner. The Team Package for $750 includes a team photo with Kokrak and more. There is also a $150 Individual Package available.

Kokrak is ranked No. 5 on the PGA Tour in driving distance this season with an average of more 305 yards. His best finish was a tie for 9th at the AT&T Peeble Beach National Pro-Am, when he finished at 9-under 277 and earned $153,600. He has earned more than $231,000 on tour so far and this week is competing in the St. Jude’s Classic in Memphis.
