CLASS B baseball results


Creekside 6, Roth Brothers 0 — Hank Schleuter went the distance, allowing just three hits for Creekside. He struck out three. Joe Killian and Dan Ferguson had two hits each for the winners. Killian and Zarley Zalenski had RBIs in a three-run first inning.

Astro Falcons 10, Bel-Park Pharmacy 0 — Cody Stokes gave up just one hit in a five-inning complete game. Brenden Wells hit a triple and a double for Astro, while Jake Froats and Nico DiIanni each had two RBIs. Mark Seals’ lead-off single was the lone hit for Bel-Park.

Kuboff & Associates 7, Youngstown Express 2 — Kuboff used a four-run inning fifth inning to break open the game. Leonel Flienter picked up the win, giving up two unearned runs on four hits in five innings. Bryan Stafford had two hits and scored twice for Kuboff, while Kevin Sierra also scored two times. Dom Dundee had two hits for the Express.

Diamond 9’s 4, Youngstown Express 2 — Cameron Recapourian had a double for Diamond 9’s, while Noah Suchora earned his first win. Tyler Stephens picked up the save. RJ Stewart doubled for Express.

Astro Falcons 9, Roth Brothers 5 — A six run fourth inning paces Astro. Chris Wastchak gave up two earned runson six hits, while striking out five. Brendan Cox had two hits, two RBIs and scored a pair of runs. Bubba Wells also had two hits and a pair of RBIs, while Dan Popio belted a triple. Marco Macali hit a two-run double for Roth.

Kuboff & Associates 4, Wharmby Sports 3 — Kuboff trailed 3-0 before rallying for a run in the fifth and three in the sixth. Lionel Fleinter had two hits, while Sam Donko and Eric Martin each had an RBI. Jeremy Quinlan didn’t allow a hit in 32⁄3 innings for the win. Joe Canaan had an RBI and scored a run for Wharmby.

Creekside Fitness 8, Bel-Park Pharmacy 2 — Brandon Ritchie allowed two runs and just one hit in five innings on the mound for Creekside.Cory Hickman had three hits, inclduing a double and triple, and scored two runs. Joe Killian and Dan Ferguson each had a hit and scored a run. Mark Seals and Mike Hawkins had Bel-Park’s only two hits.

Livi Steel 8, Youngstown Express 0 — Kevin Arnold threw a three hit shutout with 10 strikeouts on the mound for Livi. Anthony Lariccia had three hits, including a triple, and drove in four runs. Ty Wiery had two hits and scored three run. Zarek Bell had two hits and an RBI. Dom Dundee, Matt Lacko and Matt Delmino had the only hits for Express.

Diamond 9’s 4, Toyota of Warren 0 — Jon Taylor threw a four-hit shutout, walking three and striking out two. Frank Clayman had two hits, and RBI and a run scored. Anthony Clinkscale doubled and scored a pair, while Dylan Duchek had an RBI and a single. Cody Pitzo and Ryan Brumbaugh each had two hits for Toyota.
