Three one-act plays will be workshopped in July, with staged readings performed July 28 and 29. “Cabaret,SDRq directed by Frank Lucas with music director Nick Samson. Youngstown Playhouse, Glenwood Avenue. Auditions will be at 6:30 p.m. June 19 and 20. All roles are open. “The Women of Lockerbie,SDRq directed by Mary Ruth Lynn. Youngstown Playhouse, Glenwood Avenue. Auditions will be June 25. Be prepared to read from the script. Roles for women of various ages and two men. This is a modern Greek tragedy style play that centers around the Pan Am 109 bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland. “Spring Awakening.” Oakland Center for the Arts, 220 W. Boardman St., Youngstown, will have auditions at 7 p.m. June 26 and 27. Actors will be involved in mature situations; show contains partial nudity. Strong musical-theatre performers age 18 and older are needed. Sixteen and 17 year olds may, at the discretion of the director, be considered if their parents agree to sign a waiver. Be prepared with a song, preferably in the style of the show. There also will be a movement audition for teens; wear appropriate clothing. Adult men and women are nonsinging, nondancing parts. Be prepared to read from the script. Youngstown Fashion Week seeks female models. No experience needed. Auditions at 11 a.m. Saturday at LeModeln Model & Talent, 7536 Market St., Boardman; 330-758-4417. Youngstown Fashion Week will be Sept. 28-29. About 20 to 25 models are needed for a runway show. Hair, makeup and wardrobe will be provided. Rehearsal and fitting dates will be determined at a later date. Models who are 5 foot 6 inches or taller and dress size 0-8 are preferred, but exceptions can be made. There is no pay; this is for experience and resume building.

Audition notices are published in this space every Thursday. Deadline to submit casting calls is one week before publication.
