May 25
Drug abuse: Charles Solinger, 30, of 722 Scott St., Niles, was arrested on a drug abuse charge for possession of two, 750 mg. Vicodin pills.
May 27
Unwanted texts: A resident of the 10 block of Willow Way reported receiving unwanted and threatening text messages and phone calls from a former girlfriend.
May 31
Drug abuse: Jason Bradfield, 30, of 1231 Ward St., N.W. Warren, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse for possession of 5 grams of marijuana at McDonald’s, 586 E. Main St.

May 28
Theft: A gold bracelet and checks were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.
May 29
Disorderly conduct: Patrick McManara, 42, of 3785 Edinburgh Drive, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
Theft: A debit card was stolen from Huntington Bank, 1732 S. Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: A window was smashed out of a minivan at Dick Frost Auto Sales, 5411 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Keys and a 2011 Chevrolet HHR were taken at a home in the 40 block of Atlanta Avenue.
Theft: A trash can was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Breezewood Drive.
Theft: Landscaping decorations were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Forest Hill Drive.
May 30
Aggravated burglary: A burglary was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Warrant: Bryanna Giddings, 20, of 232 N. Heights Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with a court order.
Obstructing: Three males fled from a vehicle at Mahoning Avenue and Evans Avenue.
Theft: Coins and a phone charger were taken from a home in the 1000 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Burglary: Nothing was taken in a break-in at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.
Counterfeit check: A counterfeit check was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.
Theft: A men’s wallet was stolen at Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Medication was taken from a home in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.
Theft: $54.73 in gasoline was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Warrant: Jacqueline Zangara, 24,of 443 Audrey Drive, Richmond Heights, Ohio, was arrested on a warrant for auto theft and issued a summons for obstructing official business.
May 31
Theft: A female stole merchandise at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Joshua Jones, 26, of 344 N. Worthington Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property.
Menacing: Threats were made at Compass West Office, 1050 Compass West Drive.
Assault: An assault was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.
Breaking and entering: 50 feet of copper wire was taken from a home in the 600 block of N. Raccoon Road.
Auto theft: A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass was taken in the 900 block of Compass West Drive, and later recovered by Youngstown police.
Breaking and entering: A chain saw was taken from a home in the 1000 block of South Beverly Avenue.
Counterfeiting: A package containing 30 counterfeit purses was recovered after a K-9 alert at the UPS Store, 5547 Mahoning Ave.
Warrant: Charese Perdue, 36, of 5123 West Blvd., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant charging two counts of forgery and passing a bad check in the 3000 block of South Meridian Road.
June 1
Burglary: A tumbler was damaged at an apartment in the 900 block of Compass West and an attempt was made to gain entry.
Criminal damaging: A brick was thrown through a front window at a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.
Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 100 block of Aldrich Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 200 block of Forest HiIl Drive.
Theft: A subject doing home repairs took jewelry at a home in the 2000 block of Birch Trace.
Recovered property: A boy’s 20-inch bicycle was recovered on Idaho Road.
Domestic violence: Michael Glaros, 52, of 2911 Penny Lane was charged with domestic violence at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
June 2
Theft: A wallet was stolen at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: Contents of a storage unit were stolen at Austintown Self Storage, 5370 Clarkins Drive.
Assault: A juvenile was assaulted by a male at the 911 Memorial Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road.
June 3
Disorderly conduct: Kenneth Pounds, 29, of 256 S. Edgehill Ave., was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing at Wyle Coyote’s, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money and a flashlight were stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Street.
Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen at the Ohio Edison substation, 3800 Crum Road.
Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from a garage at a home in the 50 block of Kenmar Court.
Warrant: Shayne Waller, 21, of 148 N. Main St. was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespassing.
Criminal damaging: A house was spray painted in the 3000 block of Huntmere Avenue.
Domestic violence: Ryan Simpson, 22, of 171 N. Edgehill Ave., was arrested on a domestic-violence charge.
Disorderly conduct: William Lester, 53, of 7686 N. Palmyra Road, Canfield, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.
