Gas leak forces closing of Campbell city building

A gas leak around 11:30 a.m. today closed the Campbell city building on Tenney Avenue.

Judith Clement, the mayor’s assistant, said she believes the building will be closed for the rest of the day.

She said the gas leak originated in the police department on the first floor of the building.

The fire department was there and standing by, she said.
