Campbell city building to reopen Wednesday

The Campbell city building was closed today because of fumes, but the fumes were not from a gas leak, the fire department said.

The building closed around 11:30 a.m. A mechanic was in the garage at the police department replacing a rear axle on a cruiser when oil fumes got into the building, the fire department said.

The fumes were not dangerous. The building is expected to reopen Wednesday.
