Y.O. Kiddzz sets two performances

YOUNGSTOWN

Y.O.Kiddzz, a youth string rock band based in Youngstown, will perform at 6 p.m. Friday at Old North Church in Canfield, and at 3 p.m. June 17 at the Lemon Grove Cafe in downtown Youngstown.

The band was formed in February and is led by Nikki Morris, a local violin teacher. Music coaches are John Morris, Elliott Didur of Magma Project, and Jon Bielski.

The band members range in age from 5 to 16.

Tickets to Friday’s performance will be $5 ($2 for youths).

Three free events at Parto’s golf center

YOUNGSTOWN

Parto’s Golf Learning Center, 2231 Coitsville-Hubbard Road, has three free programs scheduled.

A women’s wine and cheese golf clinic and social will begin at 5:30 p.m. June 19.

In conjunction with PGA of America’s Bring Your Kids to the Golf Range week, children can play free the week of June 23-30 with a paying adult.

And daughters accompanied by a paying adult can play free the week of July 9-15 as part of Bring Your Daughter to the Golf Course week.
