Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal.

Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound.

Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511.

The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, June 6: Turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, chopped spinach, fruit juice, wheat bread and milk.

Thursday, June 7: Chicken patty, tomato sauce, green beans, spaghetti, grape juice, wheat bread and milk.

Friday, June 8: Meatballs with gravy and buttered noodles, oriental veggies, unsweetened fruit, rye bread, apple juice and milk.

Saturday, June 9: Ham and turkey on a bun with mustard or mayonnaise, unsweetened fruit, carrots with ranch dressing, fruit juice and milk.

Monday, June 11: Vegetable lasagna, butter beans, carrots, gelatin with fruit, wheat bread and milk.

Tuesday, June 12: Turkey burger on a bun with mayonnaise, au gratin potatoes, broccoli, unsweetened peaches and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, June 6: Lasagna stacker, spinach, yellow squash, unsweetened applesauce, banana muffin, orange juice and milk.

Thursday, June 7: Veal patty, spinach, cubed redskin potatoes, unsweetened fruit, regular or sugar-free cookie, bread and milk.

Friday, June 8: Cheese omelet, tater tots, orange juice, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin and milk.

Saturday, June 9: Ham, three-bean salad, romaine lettuce, fresh orange, gelatin, bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, June 11: Teriyaki chicken, oriental veggies, zucchini, fruit punch, tropical fruit, wheat bread, fortune cookie and milk.

Tuesday, June 12: Turkey with gravy, green beans, sweet potato, grape juice, bread, cupcake or sugar-free cookie and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
