Family honors Ralph Coopers for 60th event

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Cooper of Hubbard marked their 60th wedding anniversary during a celebration May 26 hosted by their children and grandchildren.

The former Cecilia Altiere and Mr. Cooper were married May 24, 1952, in St. Patrick Church, where they are members.

Their children are Stephen Cooper of Cortland; David Cooper, Kathryn Sarisky and Paula Rubinec, all of Hubbard; Joan Cooper of Fort Myers, Fla.; and Linda Brightwell of Atlanta. The family circle includes 11 grandchildren.

The Coopers owned a television business and gift shop in Hubbard before retiring in 1995.

They are involved in Hubbard Historical Society and St. Patrick Senior Citizens Group.
