Racing back at Sharon Speedway and Mercer

Sharon Speedway resumes its “Steel Valley Thunder” card tonight at the Trumbull County track.

Race time is 7 p.m., and includes big-block modifieds, FASTRAK late models, stock cars, econo mods and mini stocks.

There’s also a couple of makeups scheduled in econo mod and mini stocks.

Pits open at 4 p.m. with grandstands at 5. Adult admission is $13 and pit passes are $25. Students 13 and under are free. Rain checks from last weekend will be accepted for an $8 discount off admission.

Mercer Raceway Park

Tonight’s races will be featured by the midgets of the American Racing Drivers Club. The card will also include five of Mercer’s classes.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors and $7 for students. Children age 8 and under will be free. The Family Pass will admit two adults and up to four children of any age for $32. Pit Passes will be $30.

Gates open at 4 p.m. and racing will begin at 7.
