STATE TRACK: Maplewood boys 4x800 place second

COLUMBUS

The Maplewood High boys 4x800 relay team placed second in Division III behind Gahanna Columbus Academy at Friday's state track and field meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Their time of 7:59.70 was just behind their regional mark of 7:59.49.

Columbus Academy finished in 7:55.57.

McDonald was seventh in the race.

On the girls side, United was 12th and McDonald was 16th.
