A crash between a school bus and a tractor trailer injured three people.

Pennsylvania State Police in Lawrence County, Pa., said the bus driver, a 14-year-old boy who was on the bus and the truck driver were taken to hospitals after the accident at 7:11 a.m. Thursday at state Route 18 and Halltown Road in North Beaver Township.

The 14-year-old, who was not identified, was the only student on the bus. He was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle with what police said were moderate injuries.

The bus driver, Wynell Dessau, 51, of New Castle, and the truck driver, Daniel McAdoo, 56, of Washington, Pa., were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center with what police said were major injuries. The hospital would not release their conditions Thursday evening.
