ABWA Mill Creek Chapter names Woman of the Year

Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association has named Kathleen M. Anderson, a 20-year member of the group, Woman of the Year for 2012-2013.
She has served the chapter as president, vice president and secretary, and is involved on the fundraising committee, publicity for the chapter and network council, Special Olympics and Relay for Life.
Anderson also has been on the auditing, banquet and scholarship committees.
She was named Woman of the Year in 1999 as ABWA was celebrating its 50th anniversary in Kansas City, Mo.
Anderson is an adjunct instructor at Youngs-town State University in the computer science and information systems department. She was a secretary at YSU and Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co.
She also taught business education at Southern Local High School in Columbiana County.
She and her husband, Bill, live in Canfield. They have a daughter, Meagan.
