18u NABF Senior Regional Tournament

Northern Ohio Hurricanes 7, Ohio Longhorns 6 — Northern Ohio Hurricanes won to gain entry into the 18u NABF Senior World Series, which will be at Bob Cene Park in Struthers from Thursday through Aug. 6.

Little League 10u

In the state tournament in Cuyahoga Falls, Canfield defeated Hamilton West Side, 6-0, behind the arms of Dominic Pilolli, Evan Skripac and Cole Rothbauer. Pilolli, Seth Velker, Brayden Beck, McCoy Watkins and Skripac had hits. Canfield opened the tournament with a 7-3 victory over Lakewood. Pilolli, Velker, Skripac and Beck scattered seven hits while on the mound. Pilolli and Skripac had two hits each for Canfield.

Little League 11-12

In the state tournament, Clay defeated Boardman, 12-0.

Little League 10u

In the state tournament at Boardman’s Fields of Dreams, Canfield defeated Conneaut, 16-8, and Tallmadge downed Wheelersburg, 10-3.
