After-school program offers tutoring, music lessons, homework help


YOUNGSTOWN

The Salvation Army, 1501 Glenwood Ave., is inviting local students to register for its after-school program, providing homework help, tutoring, and literacy and reading enrichment programs.

Through the program, the Salvation Army will provide interested students with one-on-one tutoring, musical instrument lessons, progress incentives and use of other Salvation Army youth programs.

Transportation and hot meals will be provided during the sessions.

The cost is $15 for the entire school year, but the fee will be waived if students are registered before Aug. 17.
