Ohio soldier killed in Afghanistan

LEBANON, Ohio (AP) — A southwest Ohio woman says her 38-year-old soldier husband has been killed in Afghanistan.

Monica Estle says she was informed in a visit by two military representatives to her home in South Lebanon that Sgt. 1st Class Bobby Estle was fatally shot Saturday. No details have been released immediately by the Pentagon.

Estle tells WKRC-TV in Cincinnati her husband had been in the Army 19 years, serving two tours in Iraq and two in Afghanistan. He was due to visit home within 10 days.

Bobby Estle is survived by his wife and three children. Services will be scheduled later in Lebanon.
