Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal.

Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home-delivered meals for seniors who are homebound.

Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511.

The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 1: Teriyaki chicken, rice, mixed vegetables, cauliflower, apple juice, wheat bread, regular or sugar-free cake and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 2: Beef pepper patty, brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes, fresh orange, wheat bread and milk.

Friday, Aug. 3: Porcupine meatball, mashed potatoes, peas, unsweetened applesauce, wheat bread and milk.

Saturday, Aug. 4: Turkey on a bun, celery and ranch dressing, fresh apple, grape juice and milk.

Monday, Aug. 6: Penne pasta, meatballs, green beans, unsweetened pears, fruit juice, breadstick and milk.

Tuesday, Aug. 7: Hot dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, spudsters, baked beans, unsweetened fruit and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Wednesday, Aug. 1: Pulled pork on a bun, barbecue sauce, green beans, cubed redskin potatoes, unsweetened pears, orange juice and milk.

Thursday, Aug. 2: Beef hot dog on a bun, corn, french fries, tropical fruit, grape juice and milk.

Friday, Aug. 3: Beef steak patty, baked potato, green peas, unsweetened peaches, oatmeal bread, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Saturday, Aug. 4: Chicken breast on a bun, romaine salad, black bean salad, fresh banana, regular or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Monday, Aug. 6: Roasted chicken, spudsters, mixed vegetables, bread with jelly, unsweetened pineapple, angel food cake or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, Aug. 7: Cheese omelet, tater tots, orange juice, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
