China leads all nations in medal counts at Olympics; US is second

At the end of events Sunday, China leads the medals count at the 2012 Summer Olympics with 12, including six gold, The United States is in second place with 11 medals, including three gold.

Others in the top ten include Italy with seven medals, South Korea with five, France with four, North Korea with three, Kazakhstan with two. The host nation, Great Britain, has won no gold medals but has won one silver and one bronze.
