Banking

Consumers National Bank has appointed Greg Brokaw manager of its Jackson-Belden branch. Brokaw will oversee the new branch, which is scheduled to open Tuesday. Brokaw is a graduate of the University of Akron. He lives in Jackson Township.

ENERGY

FirstEnergy Corp. has made several leadership changes in its finance and generation organizations.

Effective Wednesday, James F. Pearson, will be promoted to senior vice president and treasurer. Bennett L. Gaines has been appointed senior vice president, Corporate Services and chief information officer. In a related move, Steven R. Staub has been promoted to executive director and assistant treasurer.

In other changes, Gary D. Benz, executive director, business development, has been promoted to vice president, supply chain.

FINANCIAL

David Weaver, consultant and actuary at Cowden Associates Inc., has attained fellowship in the Society of Actuaries. Fellowship is granted to actuaries who have complted examination and project requirements demonstrating both general technical and practical knowledge.

Pittsburgh-based Cowden Associates Inc., an independent actuarial, compensation and employee benefits consulting firm in the tri-state region, has hired Aaron Bartone as senior consultant and Lori Kacin as analyst in the company’s health and benefits practice.

FITNESS

Jason (Jay) Kelly has joined the House of Speed Youngstown team, bringing more than 11 years of experience working in the athletic performance and health-related fields. He has a degree in exercise science and physiology with a minor in psychology. Kelly’s certifications include American Council on Exercise, National Strength and Conditioning Association and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

PUBLIC SERVICE

Nancy Cuffle has been nominated as first vice president of the Youngstown Lions Club. She has been a member of the largest service-club organization in the U.S. since 2007. Cuffle is a board member as well as the public-relations chairman for the Lions. The club works primarily to fight blindness.

REAL ESTATE

Annette DiVito recently rejoined Klacik Real Estate after a brief time at another brokerage. DiVito has been a licensed Realtor since 1995, working with various companies. She’s a graduate of Youngstown State University and received her real- estate training at Hondros. She has experience in residential, multifamily and commercial real estate.
