Sarah Brown-Clark elected to electoral college today

Sarah Brown-Clark was elected an elector of the 13th Congressional District electoral college today during the Ohio Democratic Party convention in Columbus.

“I’m so very proud to have received this honor and look forward to casting my vote in favor of Barack Obama in December once he wins the state of Ohio,” Brown-Clark said, who is Youngstown Municipal Clerk of Courts.

The electoral college meets in December after the presidential election. Each congressional district contains one vote in the electoral college. Ohio has 16 votes in electoral college.
