Macy’s asks customers to shop for a cause

COLUMBIANA

Macy’s will partner with Siembida and Boggs Philanthropic Foundation to invite customers to participate in Macy’s seventh annual “Shop for a Cause” charity shopping event Aug. 25.

Macy’s has provided the foundation with shopping passes to sell for $5 each. Customers can purchase tickets now from the foundation by visiting www.SandBFoundation.org or calling 330-482-9105. The organization will keep 100 percent of every ticket it sells.

By purchasing a shopping pass, customers will support the renovation of the Harvey S. Firestone Park track in Columbiana. Pass holders will enjoy special discounts on most regular, sale and clearance items all day.

This unique one-day-only event created to support local charities’ fundraising efforts has helped raise $42 million for charities across the country since 2006.
