Mooney's Marrow signs with Tampa Bay

Mooney High graduate Desmond Marrow signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, one day after getting released by the Houston Texans.

Marrow announced the news on his Twitter feed, writing, "It's been real Houston I'm officially a Tampa Bay Buccaneer now."

Marrow (6-2, 205) signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent in April. He appeared in all 13 games last fall for Toledo, starting 12, and led the team in tackles (83) and interceptions (three) to earn first team all-conference honors.
