FRIDAY

Bristolville United Methodist Church, at the corner of routes 45 and 88, will serve a “God Provides Lunch” of soup, sandwiches, a light dessert and beverages from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome; the church is handicapped accessible. Call 330-889-3181 and leave a message.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

North Lima Mennonite Church will have a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. For a donation, patrons can enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch. Buffet items will consist of eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. West Austintown United Methodist Church, 6749 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, will sponsor an ice cream social from 4 to 7 p.m. featuring hot dogs, sloppy joes, shredded chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans, apple dumplings, and ice cream sundaes with hot fudge, strawberry or butterscotch toppings.

SUNDAY

A chicken paprikash dinner will be served by Circle of Serbian Sisters of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 54 Laird Ave., Youngstown, from 11:30 a.m. until sold out at the Serbian Memorial Hall, in conjunction with the 80th Serbian Day picnic. The menu will include salad, dessert and coffee. Cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Also available will be barbecued lamb and pork. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. To place an order call 330-792-1005. Music will be provided by Libby’s Tamburitzans during the dinner in the hall.

Knights of Columbus Council 3930 will have a spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Ausintown. Dinners include meatballs, tossed salad, bread and butter, desserts and beverages. The prices are $6.50 for adults, $3.50 for children 6 to 9, and free for kids 5 and under. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Takeouts will be available. Proceeds are used to help those in the community.

UPCOMING

Southington United Methodist Church, at the corner of routes 305 and 534, will sponsor a chicken dinner from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Aug. 1. The menu consists of a quarter-chicken, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw and homemade desserts. The prices are $8 for adults, $4 for a children’s meal with chicken tenders for ages 4 to 10, and free for kids 3 and under. Carryouts will be available. Call the church at 330-898-2156 and dinners will be ready for pickup.
