Pa. man charged with raping girl in cemetery

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Pittsburgh man has been arrested and charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in a cemetery.

Authorities say 39-year-old Mark Mason began talking to the girl about 10 p.m. Monday night and led her to a cemetery a few blocks away, where he allegedly assaulted her.

Police say they found Mason sleeping in the cemetery. He’s charged with aggravated indecent assault and rape, and is being held in Allegheny County Jail.

Court papers don’t list an attorney for Mason.
