First Night seeks volunteers

YOUNGSTOWN

Volunteers are being sought for First Night Youngstown, the family-friendly entertainment-based New Year’s Eve celebration.

The volunteers can serve on various committees, help spread the word about the event at local events and help at fundraisers.

On the night of the event, volunteers typically work a three-hour shift, and serve as admission button checkers and greeters, bus greeters, venue site inspectors, sellers of admission buttons, and in other related tasks.

Volunteers receive training before the event.

TAG art exhibition seeks entries

WARREN

Trumbull Art Gallery, 196 E. Market St., will accept entries from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 3 and 4 for the TAG Annual Juried Exhibition for regional artists.

The exhibition is open to artists within a 100-mile radius of Warren who are at least 18 years of age.

Work in any medium will be considered.

Jurors will be Susan Schroeder, retired professor of art, Kent State-Trumbull; and George Schroeder, retired professor of art, Hiram College.
