Jammers hurlers tame Scrappers

The Mahoning Valley Scrappers were unable to solve Jamestown starter Ramon Del Orbe in Saturday’s 5-2 loss to the Jammers at Eastwood Field.

Over six innings, Del Orbe (1-3) limited the Scrappers to one hit. Relievers Beau Wright and Frankie Reed combined with Del Orbe for a two-hitter.

Charlie Valerio and Andrew Campbell had the Scrappers’ hits.
