Amanda Bishop, Jesse Lovell plan October rite

Announcement is being made of the engagement of Amanda Bishop of Struthers and Jesse Lovell of Lowellville.

The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Terry Bishop of Struthers, and the prospective groom is the son of Barbara Lovell of Lowellville and the late Ronald Lovell.

St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park will be the setting of the 5 p.m. Oct. 12 ceremony. An evening reception is planned at The Embassy in Struthers. Invitations will be extended.

The bride-to-be graduated from Casal Aveda Institute with a degree in cosmetology.

The future groom earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California University and is working toward his master’s degree in business administration. He served in the U.S. Army Airborne.
