Youngstown Club starts lunch delivery

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Club announced Friday that it would provide a lunchtime delivery service to the downtown Youngstown business district.

Yo2Go began taking delivery calls Friday. Menu items include gourmet burgers and wraps, sandwiches, salads, soups and flat pizzas. The club decided to initiate the service after it realized that many professionals and others in area workplaces were finding it difficult to get out of the office on their lunch breaks.

“They either pack or make a quick run for takeout,” said Katie Dodd, general manager at The Youngstown Club.

Prices range between $5 and $10, and orders can be taken as early as 9:30 a.m. for delivery between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Cash, check and credit cards will be accepted.

Eventually, Dodd said, the staff plans to add an adult-sized tricycle as the main delivery vehicle.
