Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks provided the setting for the June 23 wedding of Paula Lee Hendricks of Canfield and William C. Richards of Diamond.
The Rev. Rebekah Benner officiated at the 11 a.m. ceremony for the daughter of Paul and Nancy Hendricks of Canfield and the son of Bill and Marge Richards of Boardman.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception at the Smokehouse at Diamond Back Golf Course in Canfield, then left for a honeymoon to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. They live in Canfield.
The bride’s gown, handmade in England, was fashioned of silk dupioni with organza sleeves and featured a boned bodice. It was detailed with hand-painted and beaded flowers and leaves.
Dana Hendricks was honor attendant for her sister, and Mary Cain-Shaffer was the bridesmaid. The flower girl was Serenity Fae Switalski, the bride’s granddaughter. They wore kiwi green dresses.
Best man for his brother was Bob Richards, and groomsman was Daniel Garnes, the groom’s son. Ring bearers were Ivan Lee Huber, the bride’s son, and Jayden Lee Richards, the groom’s grandson.
Mrs. Hendricks-Richards graduated from ITT Technical Institute with an associate degree in business management and accounting. She is an administrative assistant at Architectural Design Inc. in Youngstown.
Mr. Richards is a mechanic with Otis Elevator in Akron. He served in the U.S. Army from March 1986 through July 1994.
