St. Mary Church provided the setting for the May 26 wedding of Marlana Rae LaCivita and Guy Raymond Harris, both of Tampa.

The Rev. John Keehner, of St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown, officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Robert and Marie LaCivita of Liberty and the son of Steven and Lisa Harris of Tampa.

A reception followed at the Tampa Embassy Suites USF Bush. A postnuptial reception took place July 1 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park.

The newlyweds honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and are making their home in Tampa.

The bride wore a pocketed white silk taffeta gown designed with a ruched bodice and covered buttons trailing down the back of the chapel train.

Attendants, dressed in purple, were Natalie Vanderella, maid of honor, and Darcey Karas Sowinski, Jelee Kemper, Allison Schneider and Christina Harris, sister of the groom.

Serving as best man was David Caruso, the groom’s cousin. Groomsmen were Erik and Brian Harris, brothers of the groom, and Leo Pacheco and Joseph Licari.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in dance from Slippery Rock University. The groom earned a degree in criminology from the University of South Florida. Both are employed by Busch Gardens Entertainment, where she is a performer and assistant production manager and he is a crew technician.
