LISBON
The Rev. Mark Wilds of Lisbon Presbyterian Church presided over the exchange of marriage vows between Katelyn Diane Kibby of Columbiana and Benjamin Robert Dickey of Lisbon during a ceremony at 2:30 p.m. April 28 at the church.
The bride is a daughter of Mark and Beverly Kibby of Columbiana. Parents of the groom are Robert and Nancy Dickey of Lisbon.
The newlyweds received guests during a reception at the Holiday Inn in Boardman, then left for a honeymoon to the Turks and Caicos Islands. They live in Lisbon.
Alen ßon lace highlighted the bride’s diamond-white, strapless mermaid-style gown of silk shantung, which featured a cathedral train. A crystal headpiece held a sheer waist-length veil.
Laura Kibby was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Jenna Peppel, Danielle Orville and Nikki Walton. They wore pewter gray dresses.
Andrew Blocksom performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Danny Kibby, the bride’s brother; Corey Brewer; and Bobby Thompson.
The bride is a graduate of Gannon University with a bachelor’s degree and the University of Akron School of Law with a juris doctorate. She is a staff attorney with Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
Her husband graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree. He is self-employed.
